Sean won’t be coming home tonight :(

Instead, he will stay an extra night in Mississippi so that he can spend some time with his family.

Sean went to Mississippi this weekend for a football game. I’m at City Hall right now. I’m oncall this weekend at my full-time job so I’ll be going back and forth from City Hall (downtown) and Colony Square in Midtown. I’m able to login remotely with my laptop so I’ll only have to go in if there is any type of hardware issue that would require my assistance.

Thanksgiving 2006!

November 23, 2006 at 11:44 am | In Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

It’s our first Thanksgiving in Atlanta, Georgia. This time last year we were living in Oakland. This time next year we will be having our first Thanksgiving in Chicago! Unfortunately, Sean has to work today until 3:30 so our holiday is off to a slow start. I let Joe walk over to CNN center to get french toast for breakfast. Right now we are watching videos on Google and Youtube.

Hi guys!

Just a quick holiday update.  No showings but the traffic on Realtor.com is up so that is good.  Patients throughout the holidays :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

I just don’t care for Georgia. The culture here is just…um…let’s say…DIFFERENT. I don’t know where Southern Hospitality came from because the people that are FROM the area (mostly the suburbs of Atlanta) don’t come across to me as very nice. There are lot of friendly people at work but the only ones that are nice are transplants! There is one guy here at work that has never said hi to me (even though I say hi EVERY morning). He’s a "bitch"….and he’s married. He reminds me of Ted Haggard. Not only is he  "womanly" he has an ego that’s out of this world. I don’t see how a heterosexual woman would fall in love with or be attracted to this jerk.

I’m tired of being nice. It’s true that being a nice guy gets you absolutely nothing. It’s my nature to be nice and friendly towards others. Some people think they can treat me a certain way just because I’m nice. If I said half the things to people at work that is said to me on a daily, hourly basis I would be fired. I go out of my way to help those that would back stab me as soon as I turned around. I’m tired of the corporate life. I feel like I’m going to church every single day….I get to work with self-righteous, hateful assholes.

Fall in Atlanta is peaceful and relaxing. I thought the Fall season was really nice in Austin but it can’t compare to Atlanta. I wish you guys could see how colorful the trees are this time of year….simply beautiful!Fall
